New course - Working with the Laboratory Ferret

The goals of this course are to provide training for individuals working with this species in a research facility and/or to support your writing of an animal use protocol by providing you with:
- Information on key regulatory issues

Guidance on searches for alternatives

Highlights of unique biological features of these animals

Overviews of acceptable basic methodologies
-
Requirements for supportive care procedures
The course is in the Animal Use Methodologies Track, and the area of study is Ferret Biomethodology. The course offers 1.5 CEUs.

Question Formats
The AALAS Learning Library (ALL) has different question formats for practice questions and for final exam questions.
- Multiple choice – single answer: Only one answer is correct.
- Multiple choice – multiple answer: More than one answer may be correct. All correct answers must be selected.
- True/False: Only one answer is correct.
- Short Answer: Only one answer is correct, although some common variations of the correct answer may be specified in the database. However, the system cannot account for spelling errors so you have to be careful with your answer.
The type of question is always displayed at the top. Here are some examples showing how you can easily spot a multiple choice/multiple answer question.
